Part of the site is about alternative health and the other part is about alternative medicine. The difference is that alternative health is about creating and maintaining optimal health and preventing disease and other physical problems before you get them. Alternative medicine is about fixing problems after you already have them.

I am creating this site because both my husband and I have had so many successes with alternative treatments. We had problems that we couldn't seem to fix until we tried an alternative treatment. Some of the things we tried were provided by a complementary or alternative medical doctors. Some were from other medical professionals, such as chiropractors, accupuncturists, massage therapists and such. Some things we read about and did on our own after reviewing the information with our healthcare professionals.
